The Uplift Pathway: A Tiered Approach to Autonomy

We operate through a structured, results-oriented framework that adapts to the pace of the individual. We work alongside our residents as partners, not just providers.

Stabilisation & Assessment

Upon arrival, we focus on establishing safety and trust. We conduct comprehensive sensory and needs assessments to co-produce a dynamic Individualized Support Plan (ISP) that identifies the "small steps" needed for "big futures."

Active Development

This is the engine room of our service. Residents engage in intensive 1-to-1 key working and group workshops focused on "Tenancy Readiness." This includes managing budgets, culinary training in our professional teaching kitchen, and emotional resilience coaching.

Transition & Launch

As skills are mastered, support is gradually stepped down. we assist residents with housing applications, furniture grants, and "move-on" support to ensure that when they leave Uplift, they are ready to sustain their own independent tenancy for life.

Our Ethos & Approach

Right Support: We utilize evidence-based practices, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed care. Our staff are trained to look beyond "behavior" to understand communication, ensuring that those with Autism or complex mental health needs feel truly understood.

Right Place: We reject the institutional aesthetic. Our 9 Selborne Road hub is a high-spec, domestic environment designed to foster dignity and pride. It is a space that respects privacy (with en-suite rooms) while encouraging social growth (through our communal learning zones).

Right Culture: We practice Co-Production. At Uplift, residents are the architects of their own care. From choosing how their rooms are decorated to sitting on interview panels for new staff, we foster a culture where "Choice and Control" are not just buzzwords, but daily realities.
